The LAU Libraries offer expert-led training sessions at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters.

These sessions equip researchers with essential skills to successfully complete assignments and research papers. Participants will learn both basic and advanced search strategies, master citation management with RefWorks and EndNote, optimize database use, and streamline their research process with hands-on guidance. Additionally, healthcare professionals can enhance their ability to navigate medical databases for high-quality biomedical literature and evidence-based clinical decision-making.

You will also be briefed on complementary LAU Library services such as borrowing materials from other libraries (ILL/DDS) and “Chat with a Librarian”.

Training sessions take place either in-person at the Riyad Nassar Library (RNL) and Joseph G. Jabbra Library (JGJL), or online via WebEx:
