About the Libraries > New York Academic Center library

Inaugurated in September 2013, the New York Academic Center (NYAC) includes a small library located on the fifth floor. Offering courses focusing on the Middle East region — including Arabic language and culture, conflict resolution, gender studies, Islamic banking and finance, Islamic architecture, etc. — the library is in the process of acquiring and housing relevant items. To date, the collection amounts to over 2000 materials (books, non-book materials and periodicals). There are also plans to provide users of the NYAC with access to the entire electronic resources collection available to the LAU community in Lebanon.
