Full-text + CitationLabordoc, the ILO Library’s database, contains references and full text access to the world’s literature on the world of work. It covers all aspects of work and sustainable livelihoods and the work-related aspects of economic and social development, human rights and technological change. Much of the collection focuses on developing and transition countries, and a special effort is made to acquire material published in developing countries. There is a strong focus on empirical literature, although some material on labor economics, gender economics and welfare economics is included. Labordoc covers all of the publications by the ILO, whether published in Geneva or in the field, since 1919 and in all languages - including non-Roman scripts. It provides comprehensive coverage of material published by major research centers, international and regional organizations, labor administrations and non-governmental organizations, as well as providing references to articles selected regularly from over 500 journals. Approximately 500 new records are added each month.
